■About the project:
Our company is collaborating with one of the biggest Japanese automotive OEMs in the areas of ECU software development and validation. The purpose of this project is to adapt different European regulations in their vehicle for safety and assist application. our company has responsibility to understand various clauses in regulations、 derive software and control requirements and implement in the existing software. our company also has responsibility to creation HILS test environment、 write the test scripts、 automate the test procedure、 and validate the modified application on HILS environment as well as real vehicle environment. During the development and validation process、 we will have to comply to ISO26262 functional safety standard. This opportunity ensures contribution in all the stages of software development and validation in the automotive domain.
■Responsibilities:
1) Develop and maintain software application for ADAS features such as Adaptive Cruise Control (ACC)、 Lane Keep Assist (LKA)、 Automatic Emergency Braking (AEB) etc.
2) Create and optimize algorithms for vehicle control and decision-making process for ADAS functionalities
3) Integrate ADAS software with Sensors (e.g.、 Camera、 RADAR. Lidar) and communication network
4) Plan and conduct tests to ensure correct functionality、 accuracy、 and reliability of ADAS applications using various driving scenarios
5) Fine-tune and calibrate ADAS algorithms on simulation environment and real vehicle to improve their performance and accuracy
6) Ensure ADAS application comply with the safety & regulatory standards such as ISO26262、 European Regulations、 NCAP etc.
7) Work closely with the cross functional team (hardware engineers、 system architects、 quality assurance team、 etc.) and customer to develop integrated ADAS solutions
8) Provide technical support to resolve issues related to ADAS applications in the field (proving ground)
9) Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies in ADAS to drive continuous improvements and innovations

■Required skills
1) Must have basic knowledge of any of the following ADAS applications.
- LKAS (Lane Keep Assist System)
- EPS (Electronic Power Steering)
- ACC (Adaptive Cruise Control)
- AEB (Automatic Emergency Braking)
- PMPD (Pedal Misapplication Prevention Device)
- ESC (Electronic Stability Control)
- ABS (Anti-lock Brake System)
- TC (Traction Control)
- EPB (Electronic Parking Brake)
2) Must have experience in writing control specification and software requirements for ADAS applications.
3) Must have hands on experience in MATLAB/Simulink.
4) Must understand safety and regulatory standards such as ISO26262、 European regulations like UN-R79、 UN-R13H、 UN-R140 & UN-R152.
5) Must have basic knowledge of CAN (Controller Area Network).
6) Must have hands-on experience of using Vector CANoe tool.
7) Must have experience in MATLAB M-scripting and CAPL scripting.
8) Must have experience of collection、 analysis、 and interpretation of CAN data from validation tests.
9) Should have experience of validation of ADAS application software and parameter tuning using HIL system and real vehicle.
Languages:
・Japanese: Business or higher level
・English: Business or higher level

1) Should have proficiency in creating and maintaining comprehensive technical documentations including software design、 control specifications、 software specifications、 test plan and validation results.
2) Should have effective communications skills.
3) Should have ability to think creatively and find innovative solutions to complex problems.
4) Should be adaptable and committed to staying updated on emerging technologies and industry trends.

Working hours classification: Deemed working hours system

■Salary
Annual salary: *will be decided in consideration of candidates’ experiences and abilities.
Discretionary labor allowance: 60,000 JPY - 80,000 JPY
Overtime work allowance: By ordinary (Paid according to overtime working hours)

9:00 - 18:00
(Actual working hrs: 8hrs /Flex time system/ Core time: 10:00 - 16:00)
