POSITION PURPOSE This position produces client reporting solutions for institutional and intermediary clients in Japan and delivers these solutions as part of the regular monthly and quarterly reporting cycles. As part of the client reporting team, the Client Investment Reporting Analyst is responsible for providing high quality output for our expanding Japanese client base, including financial institutions, pension funds and third-party distribution intermediaries. PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES Production  Utilize the global and local reporting platforms to produce and dispatch a defined set of standard and customized reports for Japanese investors in funds and separately managed accounts over monthly and quarterly reporting cycles  Collaborate with the team and stakeholders mainly in Tokyo to optimize efficiency and quality in the operating model, ensuring an appropriately high standard of service is provided to the Distribution teams and to clients in Japan  Ensure production timeliness, while meeting quality and compliance requirements Projects  Take responsibility where required for designated projects benefiting and impacting Client Reporting in Japan.  Present status updates on such projects in a timely and quality manner.  Utilize meetings, networks and business knowledge to anticipate new requirements and any potential obstacles.  Liaise between business partners and technology including in Legal, Compliance, Investments, Distribution, Operations, Product & Marketing, among others, to ensure requirements are met, issues are addressed, and gaps are closed

PERSONAL ATTRIBUTES / SKILLS / QUALIFICATIONS Required:  Associated degree and 3+ years’ experience working in the Asset Management industry, with client reporting experience preferred  Good understanding of investment and fund industry, including regulatory requirements, performance and investment strategies  Native Japanese speaker and written/reading in English Business level  Detail oriented with excellent written and verbal communication skills  Strong commitment to high-quality and customer service  Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines  Strong organizational skills  Ability to work independently and learn new technology and/or processes quickly Preferred:  Product Management experience or Investment Commentary experience is a plus  MS office technical skills including in VBA / Excel macros, Powerpoint  Experience of working with service providers or vendors in Japan  Operational experience/background of performance, attribution, strategies, business unit requirements and internal technology platforms
